My Loss To Tom Stiers

I have updated my chess site and have posted a game that I played back in May of 1991 against USCF Life Master Tom Stiers. The game only went 14 moves and Tom seemed annoyed with me for making him play it out that far! He wanted me to resign on move one! The game, complete with analysis and diagrams, can be found at http://www.mikeseroveyonchess.com/Tom-Stiers-English.html.

Here is the game in PGN:

[Event "S.C.C. Action"]

[White "Tom Stiers"]
[Black "Mike Serovey"]
[Result "1-0"]

1. c4 e5 2. g3 h5 3. h4 d6 4. Bg2 Nc6 5. Nc3 Nf6 6. d3 Be6 7. Nd5 Be7

I may have found a way that I can afford to play in the 14th Annual Southern Open, but will not know for sure for a couple more weeks. If I have to miss that one I still should be able to play in the state championship Labor Day weekend.
