Mike Serovey Defeats Slop

Here is another old correspondence game played at ICC. This game is one of the few times that I have played the Black side of the French Defense and the only time I can remember playing the Black side of the Advanced variation. I transposed into the French from a closed Sicilian Defense. The complete game, with analysis and diagrams, can be found at Here is the game in PGN.
